Six Traits Writing
Ideas, Organization, Word Choice, Voice, Sentence Fluency, Conventions
Listed above are the six traits we teach to develop great writers. Many classrooms have been focusing on ideas and organization. You can help your child at home by reading to them and telling them stories. Talk about ideas you might have for a good story. Talk to them about things you may wonder about (these could become awesome nonfiction writings). If you like to write, share with them some of your writings. We will do the same here and together we will guide some wonderful Bayless Intermediate authors.
